Every now and then we all run into a wall, but maybe there's help to get over the hurdle. We regularly collect the most frequently asked questions here.
Unfortunately, we find that over time Molly can disappear in the Safari browser. Try restarting Safari by closing Safari completely and opening it again. Molly should then appear again when you visit an online store.
You can force Molly to appear when you visit a webshop. Visit a webshop and press the "puzzle icon" or "aA" where you usually enter a URL (see screenshot). You can then click on the Molly icon and Molly will appear. If there is no Molly icon, click "Manage extensions" and enable Molly and allow Molly on all websites.
Molly gives you useful info about the pages you visit on the web. For example, you can get info on reviews of the site or tips on finding the item cheaper elsewhere. Molly also automatically inserts coupon codes when you go to checkout.
Molly is an application that installs on your computer or phone.
If she's in the way of some buttons, just use the mouse on your computer or your finger on iPhone and move her up or down. Then she shouldn't be in the way anymore.
Yes, Molly can tell you how each page is reviewed - while you're on the page. And sometimes we warn directly against cheating. That way you can be warned in time against paying on a site with bad reviews. But we can't guarantee that we'll get all the reviews, or that they'll always be accurate. So Molly is a huge help - but not a guarantee that you'll never be scammed online.
We regularly update Molly with improvements, fixes and new features and it requires the latest version. We recommend that you turn on "Automatic app updates" so you don't have to do it manually every time.

Yes, when you go to the shopping cart or checkout, Molly will even check for coupon codes that might give you a saving. If there are discounts to be had, you will typically not have to both find and enter the coupon codes. And Molly checks itself which code gave you the most discount.
Molly knows a lot of coupon codes, but not all. So we can't guarantee that you'll always get the highest possible discount. But we try to learn from it when our users enter new good coupon codes that we don't know yet.
Only your imagination can limit what Molly can help you with. For example, you might be tipped off about:
- That the restaurant you book a table at has a sour smiley or a bad review
- That there's a critical article about the webshop you're shopping at
- That you can buy the product you're looking at cheaper elsewhere
Let us know if you know of a site you think Molly should tell others about.
Anyone can use Molly.
She can be installed on your iPhone/iPad. Or via Chrome on your Mac or PC or Safari on your Mac.
Molly does not know you and does not collect any information that can be linked to you. When you visit different pages on the web, we can see that there is a user who has visited those pages at certain times, but we cannot see that it is you.
By adding Molly, you agree that Molly can read and edit all your data on the websites you visit. However, even if we are allowed to do this, we will only use it to the limited extent possible, but enough to be able to perform our good services.
For example, we will never edit your data unless you actively ask us to - for example, if you want Molly to test its coupon codes when you are at the checkout. Then we'll enter the different coupon codes for you, so you don't have to do the work yourself.
We don't read what's on the pages you visit, apart from the title and url of the page itself - so we can check if we have a useful message for you about that page. We don't want to disturb you, so on some pages we keep an eye on where you are on the page so we can give you our information at just the right time.
We do not store any personal information from the pages you visit. We only search for and look specifically at selected areas of the site that may have direct relevance to our services. For example, we need to look at fields that show prices and discounts and coupon codes so that we can help you insert coupon codes and get the highest possible discount.
You can count on us to do our best to help you. And that Molly will only appear when information is particularly useful to you.
But of course, you may find that our tips and coupon codes are no longer valid - and so we hope you'll tip us off (it's easy) so we can edit or remove them. And of course you can't expect Molly to tip you off to everything worth knowing about the webshop you're on. Or about the product you're looking at.

YES! Molly works as an app for Andoird and in your Safari browser on your iPhone with iOS15 and above.
Unfortunately, the Chrome browser on Android phones does not support extensions, so we have developed our own shopping browser as an App, where you get all the benefits you may know from PC and iPhone. On Android, you should now open the Molly app as your browser when you go shopping - instead of Chrome, for example. At least if you want to save money and avoid getting ripped off. You can download it on Google Play here:
You need to be in your Safari browser and in the top menu click on:
Safari > Preferences > Extensions > Remove
Then remove the program Molly by clicking on "Show in Finder" and delete the program itself.
Unfortunately, several users find that Molly suddenly disappears when they use Molly in Chrome on Mac. Google has just updated its browser, so we are investigating where the fault lies. You can read more here.
Molly is a free service for the consumer, but we can earn traffic and commission from a partner webshop if a purchase is made.
Yes, Molly is developed and run by 3 passionate entrepreneurs (Mads, Peter and Simon) based in Greater Copenhagen.
Either it's due to: .
If you have said no to sharing a discount code, we will not share it with other Molly users. However, the discount code will appear in your Molly, so if you want to test discount codes, it will be included in the discount code test.
Molly does not collect personally identifiable information and does not store phone numbers, passwords or credit card information. This is Apple's letter explaining the risks associated with allowing an extension to read along. In order for Molly to provide its service, it is necessary to read the pages the user visits, but this does not mean that Molly reads and stores everything. We would always recommend that you read our privacy policy, which details what data is collected. It is, of course, a matter of trust between you and Molly, and if you wish to make use of Molly's service, there is unfortunately no way around accepting this.
