We are seeking a skilled IT Developer to join our dynamic team. If you have a passion for hands-on development, possess expertise in HTML5, CSS3 (including Sass), and JavaScript, and excel in an English-speaking environment, we want to hear from you.

About Molly Shopping Assistant

Mollyis an extension and app for iOS and Android that improves online shopping experiences through real-time and virtual shopping assistance. Molly automatically finds better prices, coupon codes and warns you about bad reviews when you shop online. There are more than 230.000 active users on the platform in Denmark and with your help we want to scale it to other markets.

You will be offered a challenging position with good possibilities for both personal and professional growth in an informal setting. You will play a central role in one our development team and you will contribute to setting the direction for the development.

Key requirements

  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3 (Sass), and JavaScript (including frameworks like jQuery)
  • Hands-on experience with AWS Serverless environment
  • Familiarity with XPath for efficient navigation of XML documents
  • Strong command of English, both spoken and written
  • Experience with hybrid app development using Ionic, Cordova, or similar frameworks
  • Knowledge of Nordic languages (Swedish, Norwegian) is highly desirable
  • Proficiency in TypeScript, both vanilla and within frameworks like Angular

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop high-quality web applications
  • Implement responsive designs using HTML5 and CSS3 to ensure seamless user experiences across devices
  • Utilize JavaScript and frameworks like jQuery to enhance interactivity and functionality
  • Deploy and maintain serverless applications on AWS
  • Develop hybrid mobile applications with a focus on performance and user experience
  • Use TypeScript to write clean and maintainable code, both independently and within Angular frameworks

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Proven experience in web development, preferably in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English; proficiency in Nordic languages is a plus
