About Molly Shopping Assistant

‍Molly is an extension and app for iOS and Android that improves online shopping experiences through real-time and virtual shopping assistance. Molly automatically finds better prices, coupon codes and warns you about bad reviews when you shop online. There are more than 230.000 active users on the platform in Denmark and with your help we want to scale it to other markets.

You will be offered a challenging position with good possibilities for both personal and professional growth in an informal setting. You will play a central role in one our development team and you will contribute to setting the direction for the development.

Key requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or something similar (Master's or Ph.D. is even better)
• Experience developing and rolling out machine learning models and algorithms
• Good at programming in languages like Python, R, or Java
• Solid understanding of machine learning stuff, including supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, and reinforcement learning
• Experience with popular machine learning frameworks and libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn
• Familiar with getting data ready, tweaking features, and figuring out how well a model is performing
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail
• Able to work well on your own and as part of a team
• Great communication skills and the ability to explain complicated techy stuff to people who aren't techy

Responsibilities

• Design and build machine learning models and algorithms to tackle tough problems
• Develop and launch AI-powered apps and solutions
• Work with different teams to figure out what's needed and fine-tune project goals
• Do some research to keep up with the latest and greatest in AI and ML
• See how well machine learning models are doing and make them even better

Qualifications

• Experience with cloud-based AI / ML services such as AWS SageMaker, Google Cloud AI Platform, or Azure Machine Learning
• Knowledge of natural language processing (NLP) techniques and tools
• Experience with big data technologies such as Apache Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka
• Familiarity with software development best practices and version control systems (e.g., Git)
